SchoolWorld Undergraduate Webinar Series
SIn order to bridge the existing gap of information & access between the students in India’s North-East and the top universities in the country, Adnil SchoolWorld Resource Centre has embarked on a ‘School Connect Program’.
Under this program, teams of representatives from top universities across India will directly interact with schools & students of the North East for capacity development, course orientations, thematic certificate workshops, guidance & career counselling, admissions orientations etc. The SchoolWorld Undergraduate Webinar series functions under the aforementioned ‘School Connect Program’. This webinar series serves as a one-stop-shop for all students, the place where all their undergraduate futures can begin to be built.
A virtual scholastic week of webinars will be organised with 12th grade students on the cusp of graduation and top universities across India. Basic yet vital information on courses, steps of application, important dates and deadlines, financial aid & scholarship, placement opportunities, tuition fees among others can all be addressed under one framework in order to provide easily accessible and accurate information.
All COVID 19 related changes in courses, scholarships, application dates and deadlines will all be addressed by universities at this webinar. We hope to have this webinar as a tool relief for students in light of the chaos and confusion that has occurred during a transitional phase in their lives.
SchoolWorld Internship Program
SchoolWorld Resource Centre announces the launch of its Graduate Internship Program beginning July 1, 2021. The program will give opportunities to graduate students to develop skills and exposure for program management and communications activities.
The internship is for a period of three months and is extendable for a further period of three months. Because of the unfolding Covid situation in Delhi NCR and other parts of the country, the selected interns will primarily work from home. There is no provision for remuneration for this internship program.
Interested candidates may email their resume to schoolworldinternship@gmail.com by June 25, 2021. Since the internship program will be implemented online, applicants from anywhere in the country may apply for the same.
After the successful completion of the Program, certificates will be issued to the interns.
CV Making Workshop
In a digital world like ours today, a CV is of utmost importance whether it comes to our dream job or college. A CV is the first impression a recruiter will have of you even before meeting you. A well written CV sets you apart in the eyes of the recruiter and offers you a firm footing for the future. Keeping all these points in mind, SchoolWorld conducted the Basics of CV Making Webinar which witnessed 98 registration and over 60 attendees. Whether it was a student’s first time making a CV or it was one without experience, we had it all covered. From the very basics of which colour scheme and template to use to common mistakes, each and every query was answered!
Our National Project Manager, Anusuiya Dev Sarmah hosted this webinar. Miss Radhika has experience in organizations like Greenpeace and RedBull and has mentored and worked with over a 100 student volunteers and interns.
The SchoolWorld team was elated to note the enthusiasm of students who joined in from all locations possible! We see the students’ drive and we salute it!
#MeettheDean with IFIM Law School in Guwahati!
In October of 2021 #MeettheDean with IFIM Law School gave students in Guwahati the opportunity to interact with Dean Padmanabha on the riveting topic: How to become a 21st Century #DeltaLawyer. Students were buzzing with questions as the coffee and conversation flowed from the details of the law to the nuances of Artificial Intelligence. Thank you Professor Padmanabha Ramanujam and Professor Nishant Sheokand for guiding the students, we are sure the next Harvey Specter and Jessica Pearson were sitting in the open house and inspired by you! We at SchoolWorld are ecstatic to see the region post-COVID 19 slowly get back to normalcy in the scholastic realm. We are excited to plan many more, safe and stimulating offline events for the North Eastern student community!
