Atul Dev Sarmah
— Managing Partner & CEOA senior development management professional, with three decades of experience of working in Government of India, Civil Society and the United Nations.
During his tenure with the Government of India, he served National Literacy Mission, Ministry of Human Resource Development; National Disaster Management Authority; Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Corporate Affairs; and Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
He led the GoI-UN Convergence Programme as Officer-In-Charge, with three sets of partners – Planning Commission of India; UNICEF, UNFPA and UNDP; and seven State Governments.
He was nominated as Member, National Corporate Social Responsibility Index Committee (2014), Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs; Member, Advisory Council, India Responsible Business Forum (2016), Oxfam and Member, Committee on Business and Human Rights (2018), Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Dev Sarmah has delivered several lectures on a wide variety of topics at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, July 1996; Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, September, 2001 and January 2006; Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy, Duke University, USA, October, 2006; State Institute for Public Administration and Rural Development, Government of Tripura, August, 2009; Indian Company Law Service Academy, Haryana, November 2017 and Dr Ambedkar International Centre, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, February 2019.
He has documented the cultural heritage of two north eastern tribes in the form of two books for Ministry of Culture, Government of India; and also has a few other publications to his credit.
Nilakshi Choudhury
— PartnerDr. Nilakshi Choudhury is an advocate at the Supreme Court of India. She has completed her Ph.D. in Corporate Governance, Bachelor of Commerce (Honors), and Bachelor of Law and has done her Masters in Finance and International Business and is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
She has professional experience of over 19 years with reputed MNCs, Law firms & Ministries. She had served as a Compliance Manager in one of the world’s largest petroleum industry “Chevron Company” and its subsidiaries and has also acted as a Legal Counsel for SAARC operations for a Spanish MNC. During her tenure with the law firms Fox Mandal Associates and Vaish Associates Advocates, she has advised corporates on Corporate Law matters as well as investments in India. She has been a visiting faculty to the ICSI where she had delivered lectures and has worked on the preparation of the Compliance Manual which was released by IICA, Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
Dr. Choudhury has recently initiated a platform 24x7nyaya.com intending to encourage discussion among legal professionals and the general public to attain Social inclusiveness on law and to Support Legal Education System by experience sharing. The platform will also strive to provide information and facilitate the public to connect with legal professionals Apart from having a keen interest in education, she is involved in sports regularly since childhood. Presently, she is Executive Director of All India Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation and has successfully organized the first International event in India, ‘NPC Shawn Ray Classics’ in 2019.
Mousumi Sharma
— Chief Operating OfficerDr. Mousumi Sharma is a pedagogic consultant and publishing professional based in Delhi. She has more than two decades of multilateral experience as a teacher, a blogger, a commentator, an editor, a writer, a reviewer and an author. She earned her university degree from Guwahati, Assam, and later on earned her doctorate degree in Astro-medicine from Kolkata.
Dr. Sharma began her pedagogical journey in Guwahati working for both CBSE and State Board schools. She mentored hundreds of students in her tenure and even tutored students of special needs. Subsequently, she shifted base to Delhi where she has worked with renowned publishing houses on a full time, part time and currently, freelancing basis. Dr. Sharma initiated her publishing career with a very eventful stint at Competition Success Review (CSR), a magazine dedicated to grooming Indian Administrative Service (IAS) aspirants. Her profile included developing relevant general knowledge and current affairs content for the examinees and interviewing IAS toppers. Later on, she joined the school books division of various publishing houses in different capacities to prepare, edit and review age-appropriate, curriculum-adhered textbooks, workbooks, help books and online practice sets for students of ICSE and CBSE boards across the country. Dr. Sharma is also a published author with several curriculum books to her credit.
A former active member of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, Dr. Sharma was awarded the Rashtrapati Guide (President's Guide) award for her valuable service to the society. She had also received several certificates of appreciation for her contribution to the community. Dr. Sharma got multiple opportunities to visit different countries abroad where she offered voluntary English language classes to school students. She achieved German language proficiency while staying in Germany. Now, besides German, she has working proficiency in Assamese, Bengali, English and Hindi. She is also a certified gems consultant.
Anusuiya Radhika Dev Sarmah
— National Project OfficerAnusuiya Radhika is a young professional passionate about the field of public policy, education and sustainable development. She graduated with a B.A Honors in Political Science from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University. She has been a national level debater, winning and co-organising parliamentary debates across the country at prestigious universities such as IIT Guwahati, Presidency College Kolkata, SRCC, National Law Universities, among others. She has work experience with top MNCs like RedBull India, with political consultancy firms, with parliamentarians during session and with the international NGO Greenpeace as well. Anusuiya has represented the state of Meghalaya in the VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 as one of the state’s finalists. She is proud of being rooted in the North East and envisages working for the betterment of the community. Her role as National Project Manager for ADNIL SchoolWorld Resource Centre is closely motivated by the same. She hopes to create linkages for the North Eastern schools and students that will last for years to come.
Ruchi Thaker
— Senior Consultant (Wellness)Ruchi is a certified Wellness Coach, Yoga and Meditation Instructor, Creative Movement Therapist, Sound Healer and a Corporate Emcee, committed to raising the collective consciousness of the planet by transforming peoples' lives from the inside out!
With over 6 years of experience, she has coached over 5000 people towards living a life that feels rich on the inside, and not just the outside.
Her sessions are aimed at making spirituality more accessible and practical for her clients, supporting them to higher states of physical and mental wellbeing, empowerment and embodied love!
She grew up in Haridwar (India), and that's where the seeds of her spiritual path were sown deep within, which continue to blossom into trees of gifts and learnings that she now shares with the world. Her personal spiritual practices of Yoga, Breathwork, Mindfulness and Meditation kept advancing all through her educational and corporate life (she worked as a Human Resource Professional for 3 years in the distant past), and then there came a point where she felt Divinely guided to teach those on a large scale.
And with that intent, she found herself offering Corporate Wellness and Holistic Leadership Workshops, Spirituality and Wellness Workshops in Universities, Spiritual Retreats, Yoga and Meditation Sessions at Embassies, Corporates, Schools and NGOs, and 1:1 Coaching to Professionals across industries, Children, Housewives and Foreign Tourists throughout the country to facilitate a deeper Mind-Body-Soul harmony and fresh positive self cultivated long lasting inspiration and goodness in peoples' lives.
